TRDP’s Response to Thurrock Council’s Consultation on the Local Plan

TRDP is pleased to present our response to Thurrock Council's consultation on the Local Plan. Our year-long engagement with stakeholders from the public and private sectors has underscored the crucial role that housing growth plays in addressing the pressing challenges within the borough. While the Initial Proposals make some reference to this growth potential, we believe it should form the foundation of the vision for the borough's future and serve as the defining principle for the direction of the Local Plan. Drawing greater focus on this will help to underline that the Local Plan is about much more than a housing plan, it should be a blueprint for how the borough and its present and future residents can prosper for generations to come.
